Cory spent six years as an executive at American Eagle Lifecare Corporation, an owner/operator of 17 senior housing and skilled nursing facilities doing approximately $100m of revenue. Separately, in 2020 he began running standalone senior housing transactions as a general partner alongside operating and capital partners in New York. He has extensive experience sourcing, underwriting, and acquiring senior housing facilities, and has closed over $400m of transactions in his career. He has broad capital markets experience and has acquired or refinanced facilities with publicly traded bonds, HUD loans, and commercial bank debt. Cory is an asset manager who thoroughly understands senior housing operations and regulations. He has also navigated financial distress and Chapter 11 bankruptcy as an executive at AELC. He graduated with distinction in Economics from Colorado College in 2016 and is a CFA charter holder.
